Welcome To Our Practice!
We take great satisfaction in helping you achieve and maintain optimal oral health. Our state of the art practice is devoted to comprehensive and preventive patient care.
The practice is located at 163 Stratton Road. Stratton Road runs north to south from Rutland High School to the Rutland Regional Medical Center, the practice is approximately half way between these two landmarks on the western side of Stratton Road. It is clearly marked: Earl A Olson DMD, PLC.
Dr. Olson’s office performs a wide variety of services including Preventive Dentistry (Cleanings, Exams and X-rays), Crown & Bridge Work, Root Canal Therapy, Cosmetic Dentistry and Whitening of Teeth-including in office whitening. The practice hours are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 8:00a.m.-5:00p.m. and Wednesday 8:00a.m.-6:00p.m. The office is closed daily from 1:00p.m.-2:00p.m. The office welcomes new patients and emergencies.
Please plan on coming 10-15 minutes early for your initial appointment as you will need to complete a Medical History Form and review the practice’s Health Information Privacy Practices. Please notify the office PRIOR to your appointment if you have ever had to premedicate with an antibiotic prior to a dental visit or if you have history of a heart murmur, mitral-valve prolapse or have had a joint replacement as you may have to be premedicated prior to dental work.
If you have seen a dentist prior to coming here it is helpful if you can have any x-rays that have been recently taken forwarded here. If you call your former office or send them a release form they usually will forward the x-rays to our office.
It is important that you make every effort to attend all scheduled appointments. This is a very reliable, conscientious office that operates on an efficient schedule. Short-term cancellations and failed appointments cause openings that could be used for other patients but might not be able to fill on short notice. We make every effort to have our patients start and finish their appointments on time.
It is office policy that payment in full is expected at time of service for routine dental care including exam, prophylaxis, x-rays and fillings. Major dental work including crowns, root canal therapy, bridges and dentures require one half payment at the first visit, the balance paid in full prior to the last visit. If insurance is involved, estimated co-payment is required at each visit. Once a treatment plan has been reviewed with you, cost for services or estimated co-pays can be given to you prior to beginning any work. If you have insurance, please take the time to review the enclosed insurance information sheet as dental insurance is typically quite different from medical insurance. You should also obtain a copy of your dental insurance plan and educate yourself of your dental benefits.
It is the goal of this office to form a long-term relationship for your continued dental health. Please always feel free to contact the office if you have any questions or concerns. We are looking forward to meeting you.
Throughout our website, you will find information about our practice, procedures we provide, and dentistry in general. Please explore and learn as much about dentistry and our services as you desire. We believe our patients should have as much information as possible in order to make important, informed decisions regarding their oral health and treatment options.
Our patients are the most important asset to our practice, and we strive to develop long-lasting, trusting relationships with all of our patients. We welcome and appreciate your referrals. We look forward to seeing you!
